What Happened In Vegas: Shoptalk 2022

Team Thankful hit the road again last week, traveling a collective 9,839 miles to sunny Las Vegas for four days of networking, education, and (of course) some fun.

Shoptalk promised us a larger-than-life experience and the event did not disappoint! With over 10,000 attendees, 250 speakers, and 80 sessions, our team was able to learn more about the ecommerce industry, meet people in IRL, take conversations offline, and make meaningful connections.

 

 

For The First Time Ever

It’s fitting that Thankful’s first time at Shoptalk marked a lot of other firsts for our team. We debuted our brand new booth, brought in the coolest swag from our friends at Swagger, and sent two of our Sales Development Reps to their first-ever conference.

When they weren’t tearing up the dance floor, Justin and Elena were connecting with retail professionals, working the booth, and attending Shoptalk sessions. 

 

From omnichannel strategies with Olaplex to CSAT with Sam’s Club, Elena learned about a number of groundbreaking strategies and trends. Her favorite was learning about virtual clothing items and feedback loops at the Diving Deeper into the Retail Metaverse Opportunity With PacSun session. 

 

Team Thankful Takes On Topgolf

One of the highlights of our week at Shoptalk was the event we hosted at Topgolf. We were joined by our friends at Bank of America, IBM, RedRoute, and many more! After a long day of conference sessions, it was fun getting to enjoy some drinks, laughs, and getting to know one another while playing some golf.

Where We'll Be Next

In May we will be heading to Chicago for the Retail Innovation Conference & Expo! Stop by booth #2035 for the opportunity to mail a thank you card to someone meaningful in your life.
